Festive Fitness Goals! 




 

With the festive period quickly approaching we fear so many of our clients, family and friends are going to lose track of their goals! We get it, we are human too, and when we finish for our Xmas break we will over indulge and workout way less than when we are in work mode! However, the key has to have balance… if you do not want to feel back to square one come January!

 

So while this is a “blog” this is also a vision, an inspiration, and a plea to try some of our festive suggestions!

 

Family fitness challenge!




That is right! I have set my family a fitness challenge! Everyone in the house has to commit to 25 minutes of exercise every day in December (excluding dog walks)! And on Xmas Day! Everyone can pick something they are comfortable with.  A gym session, a run, a home HIIT workout, weights, pilates.  The best bit…. I have forfeits for those days they might miss, or a bonus on the 1st of Jan if they make it!

 


Marcothon



If you haven’t heard of this one, it is a great way to make yourself go outdoors even in the incliement weather The challenge is to walk or run 5k every day in December!


 

Daily mile



If fitness is not your thing but you want to start somewhere.  Challenge yourself to walk one mile a day in December more than you usually would


 

Fitness classes

Get along to a local fitness class.  Even during the holiday season there is so much online you can follow so there is really no excuse!

 

So let us all get ready for the holiday season and think damage limitation for the over eating and drinking! Lets all keep moving and healthy!
